Currently thankful for
•my two under two crew

Currently amazed by
•the boundless care and tangible support I’m receiving as I learn my second baby, love on my firstborn, heal this broken and powerful body
Currently proud of myself for
•staying on track with my book a month goal. The night before we were scheduled to be at the hospital for the C-section, I stared at my in-progress book and my notebook/pens. With a little over one week remaining in the month of May, I wanted to take the book, but seriously doubted I’d get around to cracking it open. I opted for the notebook and pens (which, by the way, I didn’t crack open, but in a blurry state of mind, managed to post SOL last week, ha!).
Anyway, I forgot how much newborns sleep, AND toddler naps + 7:30 PM bedtime means being able to read and finish my May reading selection!!!

Currently looking forward to
•embracing the slow and steady

So much to be thankful for. I am sure you welcome sleep and nap time for some quiet time for yourself. Love the picture. Congrats on meeting your goal for the month

I’ll say the picture stopped me. The love. The sweetness. The…lack of sleep? How ARE you? My favorite line references the “broken and powerful body.” YES. This is everyone who goes through the process of bringing a baby into the world. You’ve hit the nail on the head. Glad you have been able to gather support wherever you can find it. =))

Good for you being able to squeeze in that reading and writing time with a newborn! I’ve been challenged to read and write daily and I don’t even have anyone under two in my house!!! You inspire me 😊
