Currently… #SOLSC21

Currently noticing
•How much I love to read graphs – Pew Research Center website scrolling for fun anyone?! Is that weird?

Currently wondering
•How I’m going to keep up my writing momentum after this month

Currently learning
•Everything Google can teach me about fetal hearts

Currently loving
•Elías has a parent preference, and…it isn’t mami. I don’t know if it’s the growing belly he is sensing or the extra one-on-one time we are getting after school, but I am LOVING the snuggles he’s been initiating. Also, it seems he thinks that in order to eat his galletas he must be sitting in my lap. I am perfectly okay with this.

Currently looking forward to
•Celebrating the completion of my first March SOLSC!!! (I can do it, I can do it, I can do it)

  1. Yup, definitely sounds like you’re doing it! We’re in the challenge’s homestretch and, should you wish more relaxed momentum, there’s the weekly Slice of Life invitation to try thereafter — if you haven’t yet.

  2. You will do it. I have no doubt. The once a week slices when the challenge is over is a great way to continue writing without the daily pressure of getting something written.

  3. I’m with you on the data. Ever check out the Information is Beautiful site? Hello, rabbit hole. And. The snuggles? Those are worth. The price. Of admission. Enjoy!

  4. I love it when someone writes a “Currently” slice! All the slices are so different, but are always interesting to read, and enlightening, too. I don’t very often read graphs for fun, but I often read maps for fun….Does that make me weird, too? 😉 ~JudyK

Dang straight you can do it! After the Challenge, I try to write on the weekly challenge and Fridays as well. It's good to have that goal of writing on certain days (or at least I try to do that!).

It's a great feeling to get that first one done, but then, it's preparing for the next writing experience! 🙂
