Britt, I love this 6-word memoir. They are powerful; filled with hope. I added this to my list of ideas for this challenge. Thank you for sharing this moment.
Just today I was mentioning to my husband Hemingway’s 6 word memoir – This was right after I saw a sign up that said For Sale – Electric Wheelchair/ drives right up to table/ Like New/ only used a short time.
Hemingway’s was: For sale, baby shoes, never worn. Anyway, the 6 word memoir is so powerful, as was yours.
Thank you so much, Fran. Cautiously optimistic 😉 Also, I love Kelly Gallagher, but I haven’t heard of 30-word memoir. Hoping I can find something if I Google!!
I love six-word memoirs and you nailed with this one. You said so much by saying so little.
Sending whatever

Wow, this is so powerful. I am so often struck by just how much you can say and suggest in only six words.

Your 6 words say so much. Six word memoirs can be very challenging. So much meaning in just 6 words.

The word choice and the punctuation…it all works together.

I love the challenge of saying a lot in a little.
Sometimes read closer
For the meaning.

So few words, so much power in those words, so many questions still unanswered.
What a great way to say a lot without say much at all. Thank you! 🙂

Six-word memoirs are one of my favorite forms, along with 30-word memoirs as modeled by Kelly Gallagher in a presentation I attended.
Here – BAM. Six words, and a universe of story in them. Incredibly powerful, Britt! Congratulations and continued strength to ‘him’.
